Noise disturbances at night due to loud music disrupting sleep!!! The bathrooms are quite small, making it less comfortable !!! Some rooms suffer from poor soundproofing, allowing noise from neighbors to be quite bothersome!!!

amazing breakfast

Solo traveler paradise

The breakfast was phenomenal, served piping hot every morning on a cool little trolley! ! Plus, Alison was an exceptional host, always making sure everything was perfect.

It wasn’t the cheapest place, but worth every pound spent.

i almost thought this place deserved a good review, but then i noticed the utterly ridiculous luggage storage situation, and their breakfast, while decent, didn't feature any berries. talk about unoriginal. plus, no one offered me even a complimentary bottle of water for all my troubles. absolutely disappointing, it's not like i stayed for just one night.

everything about chynoweth lodge was just perfect. location was fab, and the hosts alison and hugo the dog were super welcoming. loved that the boiled eggs were cooked just right every morning! even the weather decided to cooperate. it's a short walk to the train station and all the beaches, so easy to get around.

but i wish the breakfast room layout wasn't so cramped, felt a bit like eating in a hallway. also, parking was kinda tight at times.
